Grace's First Recital

Don't let her face fool you, Grace's first recital was so much fun! The pouty lip was because she wanted a piece of gum from Jeanie and was told she had to smile for it!

I did an okay job on recreating the hair style that Ms. Laura did on Thursday, and she was so beautiful despite my lack of talent doing hair.

We barely got there on time and then I thought I forgot her ballet bag (with her tap and ballet shoes) at home. Thankfully, they were in the truck, but I was nervous for a few minutes!

She was the second act to go on and she did a great job dancing her ballet to "Let's Go Fly a Kite." She looked like she was having so much fun. I was just happy she didn't have to go potty this time. Her tap dance was act # 31, so we had a little time to sit back and enjoy all the other dancers. In my opinion, she completely stole the show during her tap. That little girl was movin' and groovin' and she danced circles around the other little girls.

During the Grand Finale, she was shaking and jumping and dancing all over the place. I think she moved more than any other person on that stage. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to use flash photography during the performance, but they had it video taped, so we will have it to show all of you every time you come visit (okay not every time, but at least once!).
