Yesterday at Maika's house, I turned off the volume to one of his riding toys because he was sleeping while Grace and another little friend were playing. The other little boy was trying to figure out why Maika's car wasn't working.
Grace told him she would help. So, she got down on her back, tried to squeeze her head under the car. She pretended to work on it, then got up and turned the key. Nothing happened, so she repeated the process. Then, she turned on the volume, turned the key and when the music came on, she told David, "all fixed."
I was laughing and said, "Good work, honey!" She told me, "That's my job." She then put her job in a bucket and carried it around with her (I think it was pretend tools in her bucket??) for the rest of the afternoon!
