A Day in the Park

On Wednesday, Grace and I went to the Kyle Library Story time, where she danced and sang like a mad woman. She had a wonderful time and made a cute little slice of pizza for craft time. The story itself wasn't that great - it was a little long for her age and the reader was way too quiet.

After story time, we went to the Buda park with our friends for a picnic and some fun. As you can see, Grace loves her friends. They all get along pretty great.



All three of the girls loved the swings. Kate, especially! I think she would have stayed on them the entire time. Aubrey liked pushing just as much as she liked swinging. When she would quit pushing and go off to slide, Grace would yell for her to come back and push her. Then, of course, Grace had to push Aubrey!

The girls were fearless! It didn't matter to them that bigger kids were on the play ground...they were everywhere, doing anything they wanted to do. They tackled the monkey bars, the biggest slides and even tried out the rock wall.



Grace loves to play with her friends and asks me daily if she is going to see Kate or Aubrey! Here they are walking hand-in-hand, playing Ring-Around-The-Roseys and swinging on the slides!
