Grace's first complex sentence was spoken on Friday, Aug. 20th. Earlier that day, she and her Mimi were in a store and they saw a huge chicken. It was as tall as Grace. That night at dinner, Mimi told Grace to tell me all about the chicken she saw at lunch. Grace just looked at her. Mimi said you remember the big chicken.
Grace looked at her and said, "I didn't see a chicken."
What was funny, was the look on her face and her body language. She flung her hand out as if exasperated with Mimi's claims of seeing chickens.
