Our poor little girl has not been feeling well! She spent Monday and Tuesday acting pretty puny. So, Wednesday she went to see the doctor. She has a double ear infection and a sinus infection! Poor baby! Hopefully, she will get better soon and be back to her fun-loving normal self! Her new weight is 22lbs fully clothed.
In the past 2 weeks, she has added horsey and eeeba (Grace-talk for areeba, areeba off Dora the Explorer - yes, I am aware I probably spelled that wrong). She has also said bath, potty and several other words. Thanks to her Leap Pad, she has also started saying apples and berries. She loves her Leap Pad. We need to get some more books for it! It seems like she is learning a ton of new words lately!
She has just returned from a visit to her Nonni and Poppy's home where she was spoiled senseless with attention and fun. She spent quite a bit of time outside playing in the leaves and riding the tractor. Nonni said that she would look at photos of me and exclaim "Mama" excitedly...I, of course, love that!
We went to San Antonio over the weekend. She was able to spend some quality playing time with her cousins, Emily and Evan while their mommies watched her so that Jeff and I could have a little time out! I think all 3 of us had a blast!
The newest thing she has been doing is throwing temper tantrums! I think that she is already in the terrible twos!! She will throw things, kick, scream, strike out while sobbing! So far, I just walk away and let her have her tantrum without giving her any attention for it. That seems to be working, but any suggestions from you experienced parents are welcome!
That's it for now! Talk to you all soon!

What a wonderful response!
Thank you all for your wonderful comments and e-mails! I am so excited that you all love this idea as much as we do!
As per requests, I have added her sizes to the right hand column, so you can get a picture on how big she is getting. I have also added some of her favorite activities!
Also, just since creating this blog the other day, she has added the following words to her vocabulary: snack, spice, mouse, bluebird. She usually learns words in spurts...She also said her first sentence. If you don't count, "tickle, tickle." The other day, I asked her how much does she love mommy, and she said, "Dis mush!" while stretching out her arms!
She also can pick out heart, star and moon shapes!
I think that is all her new stuff!
Love, Grace

Starting this blog
Hi, everyone! So many people ask me for updates on Grace all the time. I thought it would be nice to devote a place for her...that everyone can come to and check on her! I will try to update on a regular basis, so all her grandparents, family and friends can find out how she is doing.
Currently, she is doing so well! She has new words (bubble, backpack, cow, sheep, cat, yuck, candy, play, trash, cookie). I think she probably has around 40-50 words or so. I should count one day!
Her favorite activities include: riding in her car (the Little Tykes Fred Flintstone type car), reading books (every letter is an "I"), puzzles, coloring, playing at the playground. She throughly enjoys her music class. She has learned new songs and dances from Kindermusik!
Grace enjoys *helping* me around the house. She likes to push the clothes into the dryer. She loves to unload the dishwasher for me (whether the dishes are clean or not), throw away all the trash (esp. her diapers..."ewww, poo-poo," she says, even if they aren't poopy diapers), and sweep the floors. She also like to take a bag of groceries and put the items in the pantry. Of course, when the bag is empty, she then fills it back up and takes the groceries to her room.
Grace is a bundle of joy and energy. She races from the time she gets up until bedtime. She has a curiosity that surpasses the cat! She wants to see, hear, know everything that is going on around her. She is a beautiful child who loves to share (ok, loves to share with Bentley and mommy and daddy...not so much with other kids!). I am amazed by how much I love this little girl!
That is all I can think of for now! Feel free to ask any questions through the comment section of the blog. I will respond quickly! You can also click on subscribe to this blog...that way, when I do update it, you will get e-mail notification!
